A loss for the community of political scientists
Dr. Rajendra Vora, a political science professor of Pune University has passed away recently. I came to know about the news very late while I met with Professor S. Palshikar. Indeed this natural phenomenon can be regarded as a loss to the department of political science of Pune University, as well as, a loss to the community of political scientists. Therefore, here I express my deepest condolence for this misfortune to his family, friends, colleagues and students who have worked with him for the last 30 years. His method of teaching, his special style, and his behavior were remarkable and interesting. I still refer to his notes while studying politics. He has written many articles and books and his field of specialization was political theory. Many of the notes published by me on this personal website, in fact, have been derived from his various lectures. I had a one year chance to be with Professor Vora while he was my teacher during my M.A. course (2004-2006) at the university.
